“How DigiGirls Training Provided More Sales Avenuew for My Business”

“My name is Salau Habibat, a DigiGirls beneficiary from the E-commerce learning path. I have seen how technology is taking over the world, especially regarding business. I’ve had to pay for everything tech-related I needed, so I decided to find a way to get training on e-commerce, and luckily for me, I found the DigiGirls platform for women and girls. I belong to a group where flyers for various opportunities are posted. Immediately I came across the DigiGirls open application, I knew it was for me.
Digigirls helped me build confidence. I have always believed I must possess every qualification requested on an offer, but now I have the confidence to apply for roles where I do not meet 100% of the qualifications. During the training, Digigirls gave me an avenue to learn cybersecurity, and I no longer saved my password online. CV writing and cover letters are other aspects I have wanted to learn, and Digigirls gave me the knowledge on a platter of gold.
My biggest challenge during the training was that I had issues launching my website, and thankfully my instructor, Mr. Femi, stayed online several times to know why my website was not launching and help me sort it out. One special thing about Digigirls is how the girls stood with one another. Believe me, if not for the other ladies, I would have given up at some point.
Thanks to the training, I can boldly apply for any job without the fear of being rejected. I can build responsive websites now. This has helped my business grow more avenues for sales. My business, Hadmas Kiddies, now has another avenue for sales. I have been able to move my business online. For someone like me who has not taken the online presence of my business seriously, Digigirl has taught me how to handle my business on social media and the importance of having business on social media. This means I can reach people around the country rather than only in the state where I am located.”
