The HerAI Fellowship is an initiative of CyberSafe Foundation aimed at equipping 5,000 underserved young women across Africa with advanced skills in AI and cybersecurity, including AI development and governance.
Designed to close the gender and opportunity gap in emerging tech fields, the fellowship combines technical training, project-based learning, and mentorship to prepare participants for high-paying, future-proof careers and entrepreneurial opportunities.
With a phased rollout across the continent, the initiative aspires to build local AI ecosystems, drive social innovation, and ensure inclusive participation in the global digital economy.
