Requirements

  • Must currently enrolled in or an Alumni of an undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Passion for advancing cybersecurity and safety.
  • Proven experience managing a team.
  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of basic use of Computer.

Competencies

  • Must be excited to achieve a deep understanding of our initiatives, the vision behind them and how they operate.
  • Must be available for trainings, workshops, and meetings when necessary.
  • Must exhibit great confidence in the work that we do and a zeal to deliver excellently.
  • Must be willing to hold self and others accountable for all work activities, personal actions, and decisions; follows through on commitments and focuses on those activities that have the greatest impact on meeting measurable high-quality results for Cybersafe Foundation’s success.
  • Must be comfortable working in teams as well as acting independently in the implementation of specific tasks, multitasking and prioritizing.
  • Must have experience handling multiple projects, nailing deadlines, and reacting swiftly to shifting priorities.
  • Must be an outgoing, warm personality who accepts feedback, iterates on a dime, and can articulate your vision clearly.

Duties

  • Representing the foundation in your state of residence and always maintaining a positive image of the brand.
  • Design, organize and execute programs and activities in conformity with the foundations mission and objectives.
  • Educating the masses about latest cybersecurity trends and best practices in creative and entertaining ways.
  • Conceptualizing programs, campaigns, strategies and executing them while working closely with management and other volunteers in your state.
  • Developing a budget, operating plan, and an evaluation method to assess program strengths, risks, and identify areas of improvement.
  • Producing timely and accurate reporting of program status throughout its lifecycle.
  • Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions.
  • Developing strategies to secure partnerships with relevant bodies and organizations in your delegated state.
  • Doing all such things as are incidental and considered necessary for meeting any targeted purpose.
